Saturday update

Hey everyone. So I was sitting here typing away, working on my NANOWRIMO book when I looked out the window and saw it had started snowing! Only problem is that, now, I'll be feeling cold the whole time I'm writing and wont be able to focus. Also, it means that my sister and I wont be able to walk to my mom's to get some stuff for a preformance tonight. Oh well. I think I'll be able to live. But also, just a few days ago, I learned that my dad is going to be moving so I'm going to have to help him in a couple weeks. Not fun seeing I want to make sure I keep my word count up for NANOWRIMO.

Speaking of NANOWRIMO, just thought I'd let you all know that my current word count is 18,066. Just a few more before I've written everything I should have written yesterday. I wish I had started writing sooner yesterday because I started to watch this movie around the time I usually write and it took a while to finish so then I started to write and ended just a few hundred words behind in my goal. I was really tired though, so you cant blame me. By the way, the movie I was watching was War Horse. If you've never seen it, please go out and rent yourself the movie because it is just fantastic and insperational. Oh look at that...more snow....

Last point, yesterday, my friends threw my friend, Emma, a birthday party because her birthday is today. Happy Birthday, Emma! It was really sweet, though, because they brought a cookie cake and presents and everything. It was just really fun and it was especially fun for me because I've never been a part of something like that before. I know, I've had such a sad life up until now. But my life is deffinitely getting more interesting.

So that's about it. I should probably stop procrastinating and get back to writing so I dont fall behind even more tonight when I go to the dance preformance. Too bad the snow is getting heavier. Dashing through the snow... In a one horse open sleigh... O'er the hills we go... Laughing all the way....

So this will be very brief but I just wanted to let you all know that my current word count goal for NANOWRIMO is 12845 words. I will have more done tonight, somewhere past 14000. But if I keep going at this pace, I will be done with my goal by the 20th so expect and excerpt on my books page around then! :)

So usually I dont do this but I've started another book. My other book, Somewhere In Heaven is still not finished (UGH!) but I'm hoping that I'll be able to start working on it more once NANOWRIMO ends. What's NANOWRIMO, you ask? Go here to find out: ywp.nanowrimo.org. This is for all young writers. What you try to do is write a novel in a month! Sound hard? Dont worry. You can set your own word count goal to challenge yourself without killing your brain.

But anyway, I'm participating in NANOWRIMO this month and I've already started on my next book. So it looks like after this month is over, I'll be working on two books...oh...joy.... And then I have another book idea. Sounds like I'm going to be busy for quiet a while.... More details on my NANO book later.

Though, to step away from my book writing problems, I just want to say that I've almost gotten my left front splits down! So i know it's totally off topic but I'm just really excited about that. But I take ballet so of course I shold be excited about that! Although... I learned that I cant get my splits down when my muscles aren't warm which frusteraites me because the only time they're warm enough is when I take ballet. And that's only twice a week! *Sigh* Oh well. But what frusterates me the most is that, because I stretched so much on Thursday, now I'm really sore so it hurts to stretch any more....

And now, I'd like to to talk a little more about my book I'm starting. Last night, I outlined the first three chapters of my book (WHAT?? How unusual!) on my wall and, surprisingly, it's looking pretty good. I'm really excited for this book and I have papers relating to the book all over my room to keep me excited and thinking. Also, I was with my sister last night and we were creating the outline when she said that the title for my book is the best one yet. I smiled, of course. But what do you guys think? Is, What I Ever Did to You, not the best title ever? To give you a summary, it's about a girl who gets this amazing boyfriend but slowly, she discovers that he's really abusive so she needs to call the police on him. Then she needs to go through therapy and all that to recover from the trauma. I'd love to hear what y'all think about it :)!
